This spectacular 721-lb. bull moose, harvested September 25, 2023, helped qualify Caleb McKenzie of Farmingdale for a 2023 Grand Slam patch. Caleb shot the big bull in T13 R14 WELS, after which it was registered at Gateway Trading Post. Earlier in the year, on June 3, Caleb had shot a 22-lb., 6 oz. tom turkey in China, and on September 12, he had killed a whitetail deer in Farmingdale. On October 4, he completed the “Slam” requirements by harvesting a 300-lb. black bear, during a hunt in T4 R17 WELS. Nice job, Caleb!
