Colton Cote, age 5, harvested a 16-lb turkey in Mapleton on Youth Day 2024 with a .410 single shot. He was accompanied by his father, Tyler Cote (a registered Maine guide), and grandfather, Daniel Cote. Colton has turkey-hunted since he was three years old.
