Lauren Hewett of Readfield joined the Black Bear Patch Club with this impressive 314.5-lb. (field dressed) sow, taken September 13, 2024 in Parker Town, Maine. Lauren, a Maine Sportsman subscriber, used L&S Guide Service and their excellent hounds. The big bear’s weight was certified by Danielle Ellis at River’s Edge Sports, in Rangeley.
